Advanced foot Care by a nurse you can trust

A foot care nurse provides skilled, medically based care for your feet—assessing skin and nails, managing thick or painful nails, reducing calluses and corns, monitoring circulation concerns, and helping prevent complications before they start.  This is especially helpful for those who have chronic conditions like diabetes, arthritis, poor circulation, or neuropathy.

WHY CHOOSE FOOTPRINTS FOOT CARE

Prevent Serious Complications

Your feet are intricate structures that support your body and keep you moving safely. Without proper care, issues like plantar fasciitis, bunions, fungal infections, ingrown toenails, or diabetic ulcers can develop. A foot care nurse helps identify early warning signs, prevent infection, and protect your long‑term foot health.

Specialized Medical Training

Foot care nurses have the knowledge, training, and equipment to perform safe, professional care.

Safe, Sanitized Care

Foot care nurses follow strict hygiene and disinfection protocols, ensuring every tool is either sanitized with medical‑grade solutions or safely disposable — protecting you with the highest standard of cleanliness and infection control.

Ideal for High-Risk Groups

  • People with Diabetes: Need regular foot checks to prevent ulcers and infections.
  • Seniors: May have reduced mobility, vision, or dexterity, making self-care difficult.
  • People with chronic conditions: Such as arthritis, poor circulation, or fungal nail infections.

Education and Prevention

Foot care nurses educate patients on proper footwear, foot hygiene, and self-care techniques to maintain healthy feet long-term.  Referrals recommended if indicated.

Mobility and Quality of Life

Healthy feet keep you mobile, active, and safe.

Through her work with senior adult

Sandy is a Registered Nurse with more than 35 years of experience, including extensive bedside care as well as leadership, triage, and care‑management roles in remote clinical settings. Most recently, she served with a medical device company focused on preventing foot complications in high‑risk patients.

Through her work with senior adults, Sandy recognized a growing gap in access to foot care—often limited by insurance restrictions, podiatry availability, or transportation challenges. After thoughtful consideration, she chose to transition from her full‑time role and establish her own practice dedicated to providing professional, nurse‑led foot care services in the community.
